The Lawrence Brook Watershed Partnership (LBWP) will sponsor its next membership meeting and dinner 7 p.m. Oct. 25 at the Milltown Senior Center, 60 Violet Terrace. The community is invited to attend.
Guest presenter Johnny Quispe will offer a program titled “Watershed Scenarios for a Developing New Jersey.” The report will include Quispe’s research, “Nutrient Recycling and Sedimentation in Watershed Management Areas 9 and 10 in New Jersey.”
LBWP is an all-volunteer nonprofit working to protect the environment in the watershed communities of South Brunswick, North Brunswick, East Brunswick, Milltown and New Brunswick. The public is invited to all public meetings and to participate in the volunteer work of watershed protection.
