The Garden Club of Metuchen will hold a meeting on Nov. 7 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Fryer Hall, 27 Oak Ave., Metuchen.
The meeting begins at 6:45 p.m. with light refreshments, followed by the program at 7 p.m. Elsie Hickey, long-time Garden Club member and horticulturist, will lead a “Make and Take Workshop” for arranging fresh flowers. Attendees should bring their own pint-size container and snippers or pruners. Ms. Hickey, who earned a credential in horticulture and landscape design from Rutgers, has created arrangements for weddings and church functions. All are invited.
