Resident supports Arnone and DiMaso for freeholders

Typing Letter to the Editor for the Opinion page.

For many years, I have been a close observer of county government and of politics in and around the state.

Monmouth County Freeholder Serena DiMaso has to be one of the hardest-working and most dedicated public servants in the state. Not only is she a concerned mother of four children and a devoted wife, she is an exceptional Holmdel First Aid Squad member, volunteering countless hours to the safety and welfare of county residents.

Serena is running for county freeholder because she sincerely wants to help taxpayers. It’s as simple as that. You certainly can’t argue with the results. Together with her running mate, Freeholder Tom Arnone, Serena voted for and enacted a $4.5 million county tax cut, resulting in an $18 million spending cut.

Tom and Serena accomplished millions of dollars in savings for us while maintaining some of the best services, parks and county schools in the country.

Please do not believe the unsubstantiated lies of party bosses out there whose only interests are trying to “buy” political positions for their preferred candidates. Vote for Tom Arnone and Serena DiMaso, who are always thinking of us and working for us full-time.
