POLICE BLOTTER for the week of 10/28/16

The East Windsor Township Police Department initiated the following police reports through Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016. 
Dustin Adams, 24, of Mount Holly, N.J., was charged with DUI, reckless driving, careless driving, obstructing traffic and having an obstructed view after an incident at 1:22 p.m. Oct. 14 on Route 130.
An officer responded to the intersection of Route 130 south and Hickory Corner Road to check on a vehicle with the driver slouched over the steering wheel. After locating the vehicle and driver, the officer determined that the driver was unconscious and had no pulse. An ambulance responded and the driver was treated and transported to the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton for further treatment. The driver was charged with DUI and related offenses. 
Manual A. Lopez, 37, of East Windsor, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, DUI, reckless driving, careless driving, possession of drugs in a motor vehicle and for being an unlicensed driver after an incident at 10:42 p.m. Oct. 14 at Kensington Arms.
An officer responded to the parking lot of Kensington Arms for a minor motor vehicle accident. While speaking with one of the vehicle operator’s, the officer detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage and burnt marijuana. The driver was given field sobriety tests and arrested for DUI and possession of marijuana. He was later released pending court action. 
The Hightstown Police Department initiated the following police reports from Oct. 16 through Oct. 25, 2016. 
A patrol was dispatched Oct. 16 to a vehicle fire on Broad Street. Upon arrival, officers observed that there was smoke coming from a vehicle that was unoccupied. The Hightstown Fire Department arrived at the scene a short time later, and extinguished the vehicle’s engine compartment. 
Justin O. Gartland, 34, of the 300 Block of Stockton Street, came into headquarters and turned himself Oct. 17 in on an active warrant out of Irvington Municipal Court. Mr. Gartland was booked, processed, and later released after posting bail. 
Melvin G. Palomo, 35, of Trenton, was arrested Oct. 21 by the East Brunswick Police Department on an active warrant out of Hightstown Municipal Court. Mr. Palomo was later released to the custody of the Hightstown Police Department, and then transported to the Mercer County Adult Correctional Facility, in lieu of bail. 
Jason A. Folcarelli, 40, of East Windsor, was arrested Oct. 25 for several active warrants out of Hightstown Municipal Court, during the course of a pedestrian stop on Franklin Street. Mr. Folcarelli was transported to headquarters, booked, processed, and later transported to the Mercer County Adult Correctional Facility, in lieu of bail. 
