Wreath layings, ceremonies part of Monroe’s Veterans Day observance

Monroe Township will hold Veterans Day services on Nov. 11.

There will be a wreath-laying service at 9 a.m. at the Veterans Monument at the municipal complex, 1 Municipal Plaza.

At 9:45 a.m., there will be a wreath laying and special commemoration for the 75th anniversary of Pearl Harbor and Vietnam veterans at Veterans Park, 61 Avenue K.

Bus transportation will be provided from the municipal complex to and from the park.

All veterans organizations from Monroe and Jamesburg are invited to participate. For more information, call 732-521-4400.
