Playhouse 22, East Brunswick’s community theater, will stage “Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike,” the award-winning comedy by Christopher Durang, 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 3 p.m. Sundays, Nov. 4-20, at the East Brunswick Community Arts Center, 721 Cranbury Road.
The show, which is directed by Lynn Polan, tells the story of middle-aged siblings Vanya and Sonia, who share a home in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where they bicker and complain about the circumstances of their lives. Suddenly, their movie-star sister, Masha, swoops in with her new boyfriend, Spike.
Tickets cost $22 for adults, $20 for seniors and students, and are available by logging on to Playhouse22.org, by calling the box office at 732-254-3939, or at the door on the day of the performance.
