The members of the Terra Nova Garden Club announce a bus trip to a Yuletide tour of Winterthur Museum and Gardens, the grand former estate of renowned antiques collector and horticulturist Henry Francis du Pont, in the heart of Delaware’s Brandywine Valley, will be held Dec. 6.
The cost of the trip is $75 per person, and includes round trip transportation, driver gratuity, water and a snack, admission to the museum and gardens, a garden tram ride (weather permitting), a guided yuletide house tour (in small groups), self guided tours of the galleries, and lunch in the garden café at your leisure (a $14 voucher will be provided).
The bus will depart promptly at 8:30 a.m. from the Inman Grove (Stop and Shop Shopping Center, parking to the back of the lot), Edison, and will return approximately at 6 p.m. Reservations will be made only upon receipt of a check, and will be on a first come, first served basis, payable by Nov. 23.
