Military personnel, veterans can eat free on Veterans Day

ALLENDALE — The restaurant Quaker Steak & Lube announced that it will honor those who have served by offering free meals for military servicemen and women this Veterans Day at its New Jersey locations in Brick, Edison and Pohatcong.

On Friday, Nov. 11, all veterans and active-duty military will receive a free entrée with proof of service when they dine-in at their local restaurant. Guests can choose from a select menu, including signature wings, breaded boneless wings, beefed-up steakburgers, chicken sandwiches and wraps and the QS&L Boneless Wing Salad.

The Veterans Day special is Quaker Steak & Lube’s way of thanking all armed forces for their dedication to serving the nation. In addition to free meals on Nov. 11, the restaurant also offers a 20 percent discount year-round to show its appreciation to active and retired military personnel.
