LITTLE SILVER  — Arte Italica, one of the Nation’s leading importers of luxury tableware and decorative accessories, will host their first artisan-signing event from 1-4 p.m. Dec. 10, at Sickles Market, One Harrison Avenue, Little Silver. Only seven Northeast stores were selected to hold this event.

“We are thrilled to bring our talented artists of Italy to the U.S.,” said Chris Collins, President of Arte Italica and Little Silver resident. “As a company that imports handcrafted pieces, it’s important for our customers to see the detail, skill and craft that goes into each and every piece. What we do is special and we are excited to share this with our stores and our northeast customers and collectors,” adds Collins.

Master Artisan Mara Vicariucci from Citta’ di Castello, a small Italian city just outside Tuscany known for its exquisite hand-painted ceramics, has been painting ceramics from an early age and helped to develop Arte Italica’s popular winter holiday collection Natale®. This collection is the company’s first holiday inspired offering and began with only five pieces. Due to its popularity, the collection has grown to 28 pieces along with complimentary glassware and linens.

Accompanying Mara on her tour is Marinella Lombardini. Marinella, Arte Italica’s creative expert and Italian designer, has been an integral part of the company for the past seven years. Marinella will be traveling from her hometown of Florence and will act as an Arte Italica ambassador and translator. Marinella and Mara collaborated on Arte Italica favorites such as Medici, Burano and the event featured Natale®.

Special sale prices on Arte Italica and door prizes will be held on Dec. 10 as well.
