Weichert’s Ocean Township office holds drive for Hurricane Matthew survivors in Haiti

David Wood, manager of Weichert, Realtors’ Ocean Township office, is pleased to announce that the office collected items to send to Hurricane Matthew survivors in Haiti.

Through the drive, which was organized by sales associate Connie King, more than 300 basic necessity items were collected in five days for those impacted by the aftermath of the October storm.

“Our office is proud to not only serve our own community members, but those in Haiti as well,” said Wood. “We hope these items help ease the worries of those affected by the devastation of Hurricane Matthew.”

Supplies collected by the Ocean Township office ranged from toiletries to paper products, as well as gently used clothing. Despite the short time frame, sales associates, employees from Weichert Financial Services and staff at the company’s Ocean Regional Center all pitched in to help. Donations were packed into extra large boxes and delivered to those in need.
