Allison Macaluso has been appointed the “Director of Fun,” or director of member events, at Forsgate Country Club in Monroe.
Macaluso spent eight years in advertising, marketing and special events for Babies “R” Us and Toys “R” Us. She worked on grassroots marketing and coordinated children’s events for store grand openings.
Recently, Forsgate held a Back-to-School Ice Cream Social and Junior Olympics competition, established a popular pickleball league and staged an elaborate Halloween “Spooktacular” event for the club’s families. Other entertainment events on tap include a comedy night and holiday-themed gatherings.
The Kids’ Club offers a social calendar for children ages 4-12. On the first Friday of every month, children partake in special activities and a “kids-only” dinner while their parents enjoy an evening of live entertainment and dinner in the club’s newly renovated Gatenby Grille. The Kids’ Club is complimentary for members and guests.
