Josephine A. Dombrowski Strugala, age 94 of Sayreville, passed away on Nov. 2 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in South Amboy, she had resided in Sayreville since 1946.
Before her retirement, Josephine worked for Squibb in New Brunswick, Du Pont in Sayreville in the Photo Products Department and then for Howard Johnson as a waitress at the Garden State Parkway rest area in Sayreville for 18 years. She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka RC Church in Sayreville and was a member of the St. Stan’s Seniors.
She is predeceased by her husband, Lawrence, in 2005.
Surviving are her children, Patricia O’Such, and her husband, James of Seaville, Richard of Kingston, Gerard and his wife, Colleen of Jackson, JoAnn of Sayreville, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were provided by Maliszewski Memorial Home.
