Members of the community are invited to bring non-perishable goods to the Weichert office located at 1900 Highway 35, from now until Dec. 20, 2016.
“Our office is honored to contribute to such a wonderful organization that gives so much to the community we serve,” said Wood. “We hope this drive makes a difference in the support that the FoodBank provides to families in our area.”
Items needed most by the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties include canned tuna, chicken and salmon; canned fruits and vegetables; natural unsweetened applesauce; brown, wild and white rice; peanut butter and jelly; pasta; beans, peas and lentils (canned or dry); 100 percent juice boxes; healthy snacks; unsalted nuts; hot and cold low-sugar cereal; cooking oils and ready-to-eat canned meals.
