Pilgrim Baptist Church of Red Bank, 172 Shrewsbury Ave., will hold a Community Advent Bible Study Series beginning on Dec. 7 at 7 p.m.
The three-part series will provide the participant with a holistic understanding of Advent in a contemporary context. “What Is Advent” will be held at 7 p.m. on Dec. 7; “What Does Advent Mean to the Christian Church” will be held at 7 p.m. on Dec. 14; and “Advent and the Christian Life” will be held at 7 p.m. on Dec. 21.
The series is a collaborative community effort of local churches in the city of Red Bank including Calvary Baptist Church, St. Paul’s Baptist Church, Shrewsbury AME Zion Church and Pilgrim Baptist Church.
