NORTH BRUNSWICK – During the next several weeks, police officers will be concentrating their efforts on safe driving habits including but not limited to THE DWI enforcement “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign.

The North Brunswick Police Department’s (NBPD) “Choose Your Ride” vehicle – half taxi, half police car – is a memorable way to remind drivers about the expense of drunken driving and the benefit of using alternative transportation if they are impaired, according to a statement prepared the NBPD. The real expense of drunk driving can’t be measured in dollars since alcohol related crashes needlessly kill and seriously injure far too many people, according to the statement.

The North Brunswick Township Police Department is asking for everyone’s cooperation: Don’t Drink and Drive. Have a Designated Driver. Drive Safe. Drive Sober. Choose Your Ride, according to the statement.
