Middlesex County’s popular Roosevelt Park Family Ice Skating Rink is now open for its 14th season.
The rink is located at the Level Playing Fields Complex inside the County’s Roosevelt Park, which is adjacent to Menlo Park Mall in Edison.
Accredited group and private lessons are available. The rink is available for birthday parties and private events. For information and reservations, call 732-494-2980.
Skate rentals with sizes ranging from toddler 8 to adult size 15, skate sharpening and locker rentals are also offered.
Hours of operation are: Monday and Tuesday, closed; Wednesday through Friday from 5-9 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday: Session 1 from 12:30-2:30 p.m., Session 2 from 3-5 p.m. and Session 3 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The rink is closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
Per session admission is $6 for adults and $5 for senior citizens and children 17 and under. Discounts are available for multi-session passes and groups. Skate rental is available for $5 a session and helmets are for sale.
Visit the Skate Zone Café food concession which offers a variety of hot and cold drinks and snacks, including chicken nuggets, hamburgers, pizza, mozzarella sticks and grilled cheese sandwiches.
