EAST BRUNSWICK – The New Jersey Agricultural Society recently announced the winners of its annual Farm-City Week Poster Contest from Bowne-Munro Elementary School in East Brunswick.

First grader Brayden Faley, second grader Abby Mix, third grader Ayaan Hossain, fourth grader Hannah Stratton and fifth grader Prisha Dhruve, who is the grand prize winner for fifth grade, won the “Jobs That Help Feed The World” themed contest.

The students were asked to highlight some of the many careers in agriculture and to describe one that interested them most, according to a statement prepared by the agricultural society.

Students in kindergarten through fifth grade from 20 New Jersey schools participated in the poster contest. The New Jersey Agricultural Society chose one contest winner from each school at each grade level. From these winners, a statewide grand prize winner was chosen for each grade level.
