Cheers & Jeers

Jeers to Netflix
for not slowing down. A Series of Unfortunate Events, One Day at a Time, The OA, Coin Heist .. it’s like every day, the streaming service is giving us new originals to binge on but no downtime to actually catch up on any of them.

Jeers to Dorit Kemsley
for being such a dud. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ newest neighbor is so boring, even her bestie Boy George, a pricey Buddha-themed birthday party and the fake British accent aren’t enough to put her on the 90210 map.

Cheers to James Corden
for making holiday travel worth it. The return of Mariah Carey (with Corden) to Carpool Karaoke led to the greatest gift we could ask for: clips of past passengers from Adele to Gaga joyfully belting out her “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”

Cheers to The Great American Baking Show
for serving up the fun. With a dash of talented home chefs, two tartly playful judges (Johnny Iuzzini and U.K. original Mary Berry) and a light coating of cute from hosts Ian
Gomez and Nia Vardalos, GAB was TV we ate up.
