The East Windsor Township Police Department initiated the following police reports through Wednesday, December 28, 2016., Anthony Desmond, 23, of East Windsor, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident at 11:46 p.m. Dec. 22 at the Wawa on Hickory Corner Road., An officer observed a suspicious occupied parked vehicle in the Wawa parking lot. Upon his contact with the driver, the officer detected the odor of marijuana. Further investigation revealed that the driver was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Desmond was arrested and later released pending court action., Rachel Glatt, 46, of East Windsor, was charged with DUI, reckless driving, careless driving, leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident, failure to report a motor vehicle accident and operating an unsafe vehicle after an accident at 11:23 p.m. Dec. 23 on Knollwood Drive., An officer responded to a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident near the intersection of Knollwood Drive and Hickory Corner Road. After locating the involved vehicle and driver, the officer detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from within the vehicle. Ms. Glatt was given field sobriety tests and arrested for DUI. She was later released pending court action., Christopher Bush, 18, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drugs in a motor vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, having a suspended registration, failure to maintain lane, making an improper turn and having an obstructed view after being stopped at 8:18 p.m. Dec. 26 on Route 33., An officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 33 for a motor vehicle infraction. Upon his contact with the driver, the officer detected the odor of marijuana. Further investigation revealed that the driver was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Bush was arrested and later released pending court action., Ryan Orpel, 39, of East Windsor, was charged with possession of a prescription drug without a valid prescription after an incident at 11:14 p.m. Dec. 27 at Dutch Neck Commons., An officer arrested the subject for a contempt of court warrant. Upon further investigation, the officer discovered that the subject was in possession of a prescription drug for which he did not have a valid prescription. Mr. Orpel was placed under arrest and later released pending court action., The Hightstown Police Department initiated the following police reports from Dec. 28, 2016, through Jan. 1, 2017., Douglas A. Cespedes, 28, of East Windsor, was arrested Dec. 28 for providing a fraudulent document to an officer, during the course of a motor vehicle stop on Maxwell Avenue. Mr. Cespedes was transported to police headquarters, booked, processed, and released on a summons complaint with a pending court date., George L. Dorn III, 39, of Hightstown, was arrested Dec. 28 for active warrants out of Hightstown Municipal Court and Bucks County, PA, during the course of a motor vehicle stop on North Main Street. Once Mr. Dorn was transported to police headquarters, officers located bundles of suspected heroin in Mr. Dorn’s jacket. Mr. Dorn was subsequently charged with charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Dorn was then booked, processed, and committed to the Mercer County Adult Correctional Facility, in lieu of bail., Carly A. Hofmann, 25, of Hamilton, was arrested Dec. 29 for possessing less than 50 grams of marijuana and for possessing drug paraphernalia, during the course of a motor vehicle stop on Town Center Drive. Ms. Hofmann was transported to police headquarters, booked, processed, and released on a summons complaint with a pending court date., Franklin Alemano-Avalo, 27, of New Brunswick, was arrested Dec. 30 for possessing less than 50 grams of marijuana and for possessing drug paraphernalia, during the course of a motor vehicle stop on Franklin Street. Mr. Alemano-Avalo was transported to police headquarters, booked, processed, and released on a summons complaint with a pending court date., Demilade Balogun, 31, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was arrested Dec. 31 for possessing less than 50 grams of marijuana and for possessing drug paraphernalia, during the course of a motor vehicle stop on Stockton Street. Mr. Balogun was transported to police headquarters, booked, processed, and released on a summons complaint with a pending court date., Robert K. Keymah, 58, of Mercerville, was arrested Dec. 31 for active warrants out of Hightstown Municipal Court, and West Windsor Municipal Court, during the course of a motor vehicle stop on Mercer Street. Mr. Keymah was transported back to police headquarters, booked, processed, and released on his own recognizance after posting bail., Cynthia B. Joseph, 25, of East Windsor, and Lynn Antoine, 23, of East Windsor, were both arrested Jan. 1 for possessing less than 50 grams of marijuana, and for possessing drug paraphernalia, during the course of a motor vehicle stop on Rogers Avenue. Ms. Joseph and Ms. Antoine were transported to police headquarters, booked, processed, and later released on a summons complaint with a pending court date.
