Tri-Town News On Campus

Kenneth Bradley of Jackson, a journalism student at Ithaca College, Ithaca, N.Y., was one of 10 students who traveled to Washington, D.C., to help PBS NewsHour cover the inauguration of President Donald J. Trump. The students gathered interviews and auxiliary video footage in addition to assisting the PBS social media and digital production teams. The trip was the sixth such collaboration with national news broadcasts for students in the Roy H. Park School of Communications. The students also covered part of the Women’s March on Washington for any campus media, class projects or hometown media outlets with which they are affiliated.

Lehigh University, Bethlehem, Pa., has named the following area residents to the dean’s list for the 2016 fall semester: Troy Egar of Howell, Dasom Ko of Jackson, Samuel Rogalsky of Jackson and Benjamin Teeple of Howell.

Christina A. Weber of Howell has been named to the dean’s list for the 2016 fall semester at Pennsylvania College of Technology, Williamsport, Pa., a special mission affiliate of Penn State University.

Morgan Albrecht of Jackson has been named to the dean’s list for the 2016 fall semester at King’s College, Wilkes-Barre, Pa.

Rachel Roccuzzo of Cream Ridge, the daughter of Bob and Debbie Roccuzzo, has graduated from East Carolina University, Greenville, N.C., and has accepted a position as a third grade teacher at Vanceboro Farm Life Elementary School, Vanceboro, N.C. Rachel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education, magna cum laude. She is a 2012 graduate of New Egypt High School, Plumsted Township.

Oklahoma City, Ok., University has named the following area residents to the dean’s honor roll for the 2016 fall semester: Emily Pereira and Erin McDermitt of Jackson.

Brielle Favole of Howell has been named to the dean’s list for the 2016 fall semester at Emmanuel College, Boston, Mass.

Adrian Williams of Howell has been named to the dean’s list for the 2016 fall semester at Jacksonville State University, Jacksonville, Fla.

Shaye Lynn DiPasquale of Howell, a junior communications major, was named to the dean’s list at Elizabethtown College, Elizabethtown, Pa., for the 2016 fall semester.

Zoe Baicher, a pre funeral home management major from Jackson, has been named to the fall 2016 dean’s list at Mount Ida College, Newton, Mass.
