Fun and family highlight the Sacajawea Day Camp experience

When looking for a summer day camp, kids have only one question. Will I have fun? At Sacajawea Day Camp, the answer is a definitive yes.

Located in Farmingdale, minutes from Routes 9, 33, 34 and I-95, Sacajawea Day Camp provides 10 weeks of summer fun beginning Monday, June 19. Basic camp includes a wide variety of age-appropriate fun including arts and crafts, archery, boating, zip line, climbing wall, nature hikes and swimming in the camp’s large pool.

Through on-going anonymous surveys, parents tell camp staff they appreciate efforts to create a wonderful summer for every camper. “My daughter’s camp experience was amazing,” said one of those parents. “In just one short week I noticed more confidence and independence. She blossomed at camp and her enthusiasm was amazing.”

Specialty programs are also offered. Campers can register for on-site equestrian experiences; technology and STEM activities, and creative programs for photography and design.

“My daughter came home every day with tons of stories about the crazy fun she had,” said one parent. “She can’t wait to catch up with everyone she met there.”

Sacajawea Day Camp provides an affordable summer option for parents. Busing and financial assistance is available. For more information, visit SacajaweaDayCamp.com
