Groundhog Day repeats on Feb. 2

Milltown's senior wrangler George "Grandpa" Guiss welcomes their newest wrangler, Amy Bitalla during the 9th Annual Groundhog Day celebration in Milltown. Milltown Mel predicts an early spring.

The Borough of Milltown will hold its annual Groundhog Day celebration beginning at 7 a.m. on Feb. 2 at American Legion Post 25, 4 JFK Drive, Milltown.

The Milltown Groundhog Wrangler featuring Milltown Mel will be the host to the festivities. Mel will make his prediction at daybreak, around 7:20 a.m.

The public is invited to attend. Bring noisemakers to help wake up Mel.

Coffee and donuts will be served at the legion afterward.
