NORTH BRUNSWICK – Officers of the North Brunswick Police Department (NBPD) will soon be equipped with body cameras.

The United States Department of Justice and the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office will provide $20,000 in federal funds to offset the costs of purchasing new Body Worn Cameras, according to information released by the NBPD. The funds are being awarded from the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program.
