Dr. William D. Charschan has been honored by USA Track and Field (USATF) for 25 years of service.
The North Brunswick- and Scotch Plains-based chiropractor contacted USATF more than two decades ago to provide field coverage for their events. He began setting up medical coverage for the USATF-sanctioned 5Ks and 10Ks in New Jersey. He is currently the medical director for USATF NJ.
He was recognized at an awards dinner on Jan. 21.
