Couple celebrates 60th wedding anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Wilhelm “Bill” Frank of Sayreville recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. The couple was married Sept. 30, 1956, in Corpus Christi Church, South River, and honeymooned in Niagara Falls, N.Y.

In honor of the Franks’ anniversary, their family members gathered for Sunday brunch at MJ’s Restaurant, Matawan.

Mr. Frank retired from Johnson & Johnson Personal Products, Milltown, after 41 years of service. He also served in the U.S. Army for two years.

His wife, the former Shirley Combs, is a homemaker.

The Franks enjoy spending time with their family, attending bingo events and visiting Atlantic City. They have lived in Sayreville for more than 60 years in a home Mr. Frank built with his father.

The couple has five children, two daughters-in-law and one son-in-law: William Frank; Robert Frank, and his wife, Susan; Barry Frank, and his wife, Janet; Lisa Frank Luma, and her husband, Kenneth Luma; and Raymond Frank.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank have 13 grandchildren.
