Marilyn Janet Winkler, 69, passed away Thursday January,19, 2017.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was a former resident of East Brunswick, NJ, West Redding, Connecticut and West Windsor.
Mrs. Winkler was a graduate of Jamaica High School where she met her husband.
She enjoyed drawing, piano playing and animals.She assisted in dog training and breeding.
Mrs. Winkler was a volunteer temple administrator at Shearith Israel Temple in Ridgefield, CT and was a breast cancer survivor.
She is survived by her husband Bruce Winkler,a son Michael (Jamie) Winkler,a daughter Ellen Winkler Buchsbaum,a brother Jeffrey Dorfman and four grandchildren Jeremy, Ian, Danielle and Evan.
Funeral services and entombment are Sunday 1:30PM at Cedar Park Cemetery (Sanctuary of Abraham and Sarah), Paramus,NJ.
The period of mourning will be observed Sunday & Tuesday 7PM-9PM at the residence of Ellen Buchsbaum, Monday 7-9PM at the residence of Michael Winkler.
The family respectfully requests memorial contributions to the ASPCA.
