Panel to discuss ‘Voices of Black Experience’ Feb. 18

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Monmouth County will hold the panel discussion, “Voices of Black Experience: Inspiring Us to Resist the New Jim Crow,” from 5-7 p.m. Feb. 18 at 1475 W. Front St., Lincroft.

Speakers will include Topeka K. Sam, who is the founder of The Ladies of Hope Ministries, a program of The Eleanor Moody-Shepherd Resource Center for Women in Ministry at New York Theological Seminary; Paula Mcghie, mother of one of the Bronx 120; and dequi kioni-sadiki, a black feminist, educator for Liberation, artist, human rights activist and poet.
