Girl Scouts to honor local leaders, role models at gala

FARMINGDALE — The Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore will honor seven outstanding role models who are leading the way at its annual Women of Distinction & Community Partners Gala on March 3 at the Eagle Oaks Country Club in Farmingdale.

Four will be honored as Women of Distinction, and additional honorees will include a Junior Woman of Distinction, a community partner and a Man Enough to be a Girl Scout Member of the Year.

The 2017 Women of Distinction honorees include: Regina Foley of Hackensack Meridian Health, Patricia Howard of United Healthcare, Victoria Magliacane of Investors Bank and Dr. Stephanie Reynolds of Hackensack Meridian Health.

The Community Partner is Jeremy Grunin of The Jay & Linda Grunin Foundation;
the Junior Woman of Distinction is Hannah Morgan of Troop 50171; and the Man Enough to be a Girl Scout Member of the Year is Thomas Hayes of New Jersey Natural Gas.

Proceeds will benefit the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore and its programs. For tickets or more information, call Tara Novak at 732-349-4499.
