Junior Sailing Program Open House set for Feb. 18

The Regatta was sponsored by the River Rats (Fair Haven Sailing Club) which is an educational non-profit organization dedicated to sailing, individual sailing, training and family fun.

The Keyport Yacht Club will hold the 2017 Junior Sailing Program Open House for parents and young sailors at 2 p.m. on Feb. 18 at 115 First St., Keyport.

The seven-week summer program is open to children age 8-17 and includes on-water and on-shore lessons from certified sailing instructors on boat handling and safety, sail trim and navigation, boat maintenance and rigging, and racing tactics. Boats are provided.
