Brianna Roath, of Jackson has been named to the dean’s list at Western New England University, Springfield, Mass., for the 2016 fall semester. Brianna is working toward a degree in health sciences.

Patrick Devine of Howell received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting at Wilkes University, Wilkes-Barre, Pa., at the completion of the 2016 fall semester. Patrick was named to the dean’s list for the 2016 fall semester.

The following area residents have been named to the dean’s list at Coastal Carolina University, Conway, S.C., for the 2016 fall semester: Mark Dempsey of New Egypt, Nicole Hillwig of Jackson and Kenneth Stillwell of New Egypt.

The following area residents have been named to the dean’s list at Saint Joseph’s University, Philadelphia, Pa., for the 2016 fall semester: Alexandra Dominguez of Howell, Christopher Golding of New Egypt and Alexander Oleck of Jackson.

Jenna Alchevsky of Jackson has received a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta.

Two Jackson residents have been named to the dean’s list at Alvernia University, Reading, Pa., for the 2016 fall semester: Kristen Boyle, occupational therapy, and Lisa Cuccinello, psychology.

Michael Kaminski, the son of Mark and Denise Kaminski of Howell, was named to dean’s list at Susquehanna University, Selinsgrove, Pa., for the 2016 fall semester. Michael is a music major in the class of 2017 and is a 2013 graduate of Howell High School.

Christian Shave of Howell was awarded gold stars by The Citadel, Charleston, S.C., for earning a grade point ratio of 3.7 or higher during the 2016 fall semester. Students who achieve Gold Star recognition are also placed on the dean’s list.

Lauren Harper of New Egypt has been named to the dean’s list at the University of New Hampshire, Durham, N.H., for earning Highest Honors for the 2016 fall semester.

Quadajiah Fitch of Jackson has been named to the dean’s list for the 2016 fall semester at the University of Iowa, Iowa City.

From Jackson: Amanda Courtney, Veronica Flesher, Teresa Holl and Coleby Pavlik.

The following area residents were named to the dean’s list (GPA of 3.5 or above) or to the president’s list (GPA of 4.0) at the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, Ala., for the 2016 fall semester: Emily Meyer of Howell, dean’s list; Jenna Murphy of Howell, dean’s list; Allison Kehoe of Howell, dean’s list; Erin A. Bilder of Jackson, president’s list; Matthew R. George of Jackson, dean’s list; and Alexis Wolf of Jackson, president’s list.

Hofstra University, Hempstead, N.Y., has named the following area residents to the dean’s list for the 2016 fall semester: Christopher Eiserle of Jackson, Kristopher Lopez of Jackson and Natalie Lorenzo of Howell.

The following area residents have been named to the dean’s list for the 2016 fall semester at University of the Sciences, Philadelphia, Pa. – Marissa Adamczyk of Jackson, Amit Gohil of Howell, Chelsea Horner of New Egypt, Jenna Kwiecinski of Jackson, Taylor Landis of Howell, Jonathan Ngo of Howell, Katee O’Malley of Howell, Kayla Ojeda of Howell, Urvi Patel of Howell, Victoria Pobok of Jackson, Delghir Sanzhikov of Jackson, Kelli Smith of Howell and Jazmin Vasquez of Jackson.

Tyler Ornstein of Howell has been named to the dean’s list for the 2016 fall semester at DeSales University, Center Valley, Pa.

Kathryn Solinski of New Egypt was recently initiated into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest all-discipline collegiate honor society. Kathryn was initiated at the University of North Carolina, Wilmington, N.C.

Albright College, Reading, Pa., has named two area residents to the dean’s list for the 2016 fall semester: Paige Naseef, a junior biology/classical studies major from Howell and Heather Prince, a senior sociology/criminology major from New Egypt.

Stevenson University, Owings Mills, Md., has named the following area residents to the dean’s list for the 2016 fall semester: Kyle Bosko of Howell, Alyssa Maher of Howell, Devin McGowan of Howell and Anthony Plaag of New Egypt.

Jonathan P. Mitchell of New Egypt has been named to the dean’s list at St. Lawrence University, Canton, N.Y., for the 2016 fall semester. Jonathan is a member of the class of 2019 and is majoring in English and music.
