‘Lincoln’ will visit S.R. Library Feb. 16

The Friends of the South River Library will present “An Evening With Abe Lincoln” 7 p.m. Feb. 16 at the library, 55 Appleby Ave.

Guests are invited to experience history as “Lincoln” discusses his life and times, his rise to political power and his leadership of the nation as the 16th president of the United States.

The event also will include a presentation by “Col. J.B. Sweitzer,” Army of the Potomac, who will discuss his experiences during the Civil War.

All ages are welcome to attend. A question-and-answer session will follow the program.
