Teenager ejected from motorcycle during crash

EAST BRUNSWICK – A young man was ejected from his motorcycle and suffered serious injuries following a collision with an SUV.

Balint Y. Pronik, 19, of East Brunswick, was operating a 2012 Kawasaki motorcycle north on Ryders Lane near Tices Lane in East Brunswick around 4:39 p.m. on Feb. 15, according to a statement prepared by the East Brunswick Police Department (EBPD).

As Pronik approached Tices Lane, a 2015 Subaru Forrester operated by Elizabeth Bruflodt, 57, of Jackson, was making a left turn onto Tices Lane from Ryders Lane southbound. Pronik’s motorcycle struck Bruflodt’s Subaru and Pronik was ejected from the motorcycle, according to police.

Pronik sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash while Bruflodt was uninjured. Pronik was transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick for treatment.
