The New Jersey Mystery Theater and the Friends of the Jamesburg Public Library will present “Murder by Munchies,” a fundraising mystery-theater event, 2 p.m. March 12 at Playhouse 22, 721 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick.
The plot follows members of the Friends of the Library as they excitedly host auditions for a new reality show, “American Sweet Tooth.” Producers of the show are holding a nationwide search for America’s next favorite dessert. Who knows what will transpire as baking rivals audition?
Tickets cost $30 each, refreshments included. The event also will feature a variety of door prizes. Proceeds will fund the library summer reading program.
