Music notes

Middletown Public Library, 55 New Monmouth Rd., Middletown, will hold “That’s Amore: A Century Of Dean Martin” at 2 p.m. on March 11.

In his one-man show, Dave DeLuca imitates Martin’s relaxed, warbling crooning voice as he performs signature songs. New Jersey native Dave DeLuca is an accomplished singer, songwriter, musician and recording engineer who has been performing for over 30 years. He is a member of the Songwriters Guild of America and has had songs published by BMI. In December 2011, Dave auditioned for and won a starring role in the Count Basie Theatre’s “5th Annual Sinatra Birthday Bash.” He is currently overseeing production of “The Star-Spangled Songbook,” a tribute to the great American composers and lyricists who crafted our body of popular standards, for a future airing on PBS as well as writing a companion book.
