The event will take place on Thursday, March 2, from 6-9 p.m. Your $75 ticket will get you a spot at the Channel Club Catering Hall in Monmouth Beach where you will be able to taste items from various restaurants.

Some of the participating eateries and restaurants include Bahr’s Landing, The Beach Tavern, The Bistro at Red Bank, Carlo’s Bakery (The Cake Boss), Channel Club Catering Hall, The Cheese Cave, Chocolate Carousel, Daisy Chocolates, Danny’s Steakhouse, Food Circus Catering, The French Market, GREEK EATS, Hoffman’s Ice Cream, Langosta Lounge, Lunch Break, Merri-Markers Caterers, Rooney’s Oceanfront, Russell & Bette’s, Teak, Tommy’s Tap & Tavern and Trinchero Wine.

Lunch Break was founded in 1983 and seeks to alleviate hunger and lead those they serve to healthier lifestyles. The organization provides life’s basic necessities, such as food, clothing and fellowship for community members in need.

Lunch Break Board Member Rick Brandt finds this event to be one of his favorites.

“Lunch Break’s ‘Taste of Summer’ event will have some of the best food the Jersey Shore has to offer,” he said. “This event will be a lot of fun and benefits those who battle hunger in our community.”
