‘Walk a Mile in Their Shoes’ to offer glimpse of disenfranchised

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Monmouth County invites the local community to the role-playing workshop, “Walk a Mile in Their Shoes,” from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on March 11 at 1475 W. Front St., Lincroft.

Come experience what it feels like to navigate social safety nets as a disenfranchised group. The workshop is being presented by Jennifer Lewinski of Black Lives Matter of Asbury Park.

Lewinski is the leader of Black Lives Matter of Asbury Park and is also an activist and mother. She is passionate about racial justice, transgender rights and helping the community in Asbury Park.
