EAST BRUNSWICK – The East Brunswick Police Department has a confidential tips line for those who may observe suspected criminal activity but do not feel comfortable making a formal complaint.

These tips can include anything from a suspicious person and/or incident, quality of life issues and/or traffic complaints.

A detailed phone call to the tips line can be left at all times. Contact information can be left if you would like an officer to follow up after the initial call, but is not required. All information will be kept confidential.

Relay information by calling 732-432-8477 or emailing InvestigativeDivision@ebpd.net, where photos and/or videos of any suspected criminal activity can be attached. Put the type of information in the subject line (ex: Narcotics Activity, Traffic Problem, Suspicious Person). If you do not wish to be contacted, let it be known in the email.

If the information is in regards to a crime in progress, 9-1-1 is always the best option.
