After the sold-out joint JCC/Hadassah event last year, “Rhythm and Jews,” The Jewish Community Center of Middlesex County will once again hold an evening of food, friendship and fun at the JCC, 1775 Oak Tree Rd., Edison, at 6 p.m. on May 23.
Currently appearing on NickMom in Nickelodeon’s stand-up comedy special called “NickMom Night Out,” Robin Fox, a very funny New Jersey Mom, decided after 17 years of being a housewife that being the funniest mom on the block wasn’t enough for her. Twelve years ago she moved her act from the school bus stop to the stage. Her act puts a unique spin on her 28 year marriage, kids, her aging parents, suburban life and more.
A buffet dinner by Lin’s Kosher Chinese of Manville will be held at 6:15 with the comedy show to follow. The price is $27 per person for payments received by May 16; $36 per person for payment received May 17-21. No walk-ins.
