Bayshore opens new office in West Long Branch

Based in Holmdel, Bayshore Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine has expanded its practice into eastern Monmouth County in West Long Branch. Bayshore Acupuncture is staffed by two experienced, licensed acupuncturists, Wai Chiu and Jerry So, as well as dedicated support personnel.

“We opened the new office in May to better serve the community in the eastern part of the county,” So said.

Bayshore Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine offers patients acupuncture expertise and other holistic health-care services to help treat a broad range of ailments, especially pain and women’s health issues, and to maintain overall well-being.

Chiu and So are graduates from the Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine, which is based in Bloomfield. The acupuncture program is a master’s degree-level program with 2,700 hours in training with over 800 clinical hours inclusive.

The requirement to enter the program in New Jersey includes a bachelor’s degree and a few basic science courses.

Chiu and So are both nationally certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and fully licensed to practice acupuncture in New Jersey.
