The Township of South Brunswick will hold a public information session regarding the emerald ash borer at 7:30 p.m. April 12 at the South Brunswick Senior Center, 540 Ridge Road in the Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick.

The insect has been confirmed as a threat to plant life in South Brunswick. It attacks ash trees, causing death within three to five years. Dying trees become brittle, posing a future hazard to both life and property.
