New Beginnings Animal Rescue will hold an “April Showers” open house and adoption event from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on April 8 at the shelter, 706-R Cranbury Rd., East Brunswick.
There will be face painting, balloon animals and a secret egg hunt for children, free live plants for all adult visitors, complimentary refreshments and giveaways and a “mini” thrift store sale.
All pets are spayed/neutered, up-to-date with vaccines, dewormed, tested, groomed and vet-checked prior to adoption. Adoption applications are required. Adoption fees will be waived for all adult pets.
