A Women’s Conference scheduled for April 21 at Brookdale

A Women’s Conference, which will provide a wide-range of topics, will be staged on April 21 at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft.

The event will run from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. and will be held at the college’s Warner Student Life Center on Arena Drive.

The conference will feature a keynote address by Emme Aronson, the world’s first plus-size supermodel and an internationally recognized advocate.

She will address and share her knowledge on such on topics such as body positivity, women’s health, eating disorders, surviving cancer and diversity in fashion.

Robin Fox, the stay-at-home mom turned professional comedian, will speak as well.

The conference offers a full day of immersive workshops and networking opportunities, along with morning coffee and lunch.

Attendees can choose from among 12 available workshops on subjects such as horticulture, script-writing, Qigong exercise, the science of intuition, chocolate making, consumer rights and astrology.

“This is a chance to break away from your routine, experience new things and be among others seeking intelligent entertainment,” said Linda Martin, director of lifelong learning at Brookdale Community College.
