Monmouth Museum slates trip to Museum of Modern Art

The new "Fantasy World Vision: A Retrospective" exhibit at the Monmouth Museum showcases 61 pieces from the collection of late local Red Bank artist Lewis Lanza Rudolph

The Monmouth Museum is selling tickets for a trip to New York City to tour the Noguchi Museum, Socrates Sculpture Park and Museum of Modern Art (MOMA). The trip will take place from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. on April 28.

Come explore Queens, New York, on this exciting day filled with contemporary art. Ticket holders will tour the exquisite Noguchi Museum and then walk one block for a short tour of the renowned Socrates Sculpture Park where public sculpture mixes with the skyline view of Manhattan.

Individuals will then enjoy a festive lunch at Madera Cuban Grill. Afterwards, individuals will tour MOMA, PS1 (museum extension). MOMA’s museum extension is devoted to displaying the most experimental art in the world.

Tickets for museum members are $145 and $155 for nonmembers. Respond by April 19. The maximum number of guests for the trip is 40.
