(At 1 p.m., there will be a free tour of the Princeton Abbey.), Slocum is executive director of the Funeral Consumers Alliance (FCA) in Burlington, VT, a consumer education and watchdog organization. He is actively involved in initiatives petitioning the funeral industry to become more transparent., In his talk, Slocum will describe several new efforts to bring transparency and consumer fairness to the funeral industry.
