The East Brunswick Department of Aging invited East Brunswick residents 60 years of age and older to share the history, customs and traditions of the senior residents.

The South River Historical & Preservation Society will meet at 7 p.m. on April 26 at the South River Museum, the former Old School Baptist Church, 64-66 Main St., South River.

The program will feature “The ABCs of Starting Your Genealogy Research” according to Beverly Seward Yackel, past president of the Monmouth County Genealogy Society and a member of its Education and Speakers Bureau committees.

The meeting is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
