Margaret Morris, age 84, of Milford, Delaware, formerly of Farmingdale, N.J., loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, who loved family, conversation, a cup of tea, reading and her Irish roots and Ted Williams and the Boston Red Sox.
Born in Lakewood, NJ.., she was a graduate of Freehold High School and lived most of her life in Howell before moving to Milford, Delaware.
Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Elvin Morris, Jr.; her five children, Timothy, Jonathan (wife Yon Hui), Jennifer DeMeglio (husband John), Patrick (wife Kelly) and Michael; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
She is also survived by three siblings, Judy Reutter, William Hanaway and Theresa Carpenter and many nieces and nephews.
She was a Communicant of St. Catherine of Siena in Farmingdale and St. John’s in Milford. Her volunteer work included the Read Aloud program at Milford Library, Abbott’s Mill Pond historic site and Milford Hospital. Burial was held at St. Anne Cemetery in Wall, N.J.
