Magnetic slime, 3D designs part of May programs at Monroe library

The Monroe Township Library will hold the following programs during May at the library, 4 Municipal Plaza, Monroe.

Music with Pat McKinley for infants, toddlers and preschoolers will be held at 11:45 a.m. on Tuesdays, May 2, 9, 16 and 30.

Children ages 3-5 are invited to “Celebrate Grandma” at 11 a.m. on May 4 as Marcia Samilow reads her book and does a craft.

Design a Mother’s Day decoration using Tinkercad, a 3D modeling program, at 5 p.m. on May 4. Ages 9 and up.

“Night of the Ninja” will be held at 7 p.m. on May 8 on a first-come, first-served basis for children ages 6-8. Numbers will be available 30 minutes prior to start time.

Make magnetic slime at 5 p.m. on May 11. Ages 9 and up.

Children ages 18-36 months will experience their first introduction to paint, crayons or glue at 11 a.m. on May 12 during Scribble Art.

A paper airplane challenge will be held at 5 p.m. on May 18 for children ages 9 and older.

A “Magic Treehouse” birthday celebration will take place at 7 p.m. on May 22 for children ages 6-8. This is first-come, first-served. Numbers will be available 30 minutes prior to start time.
