Traveling back in time to perform the songs and sounds of the Great American Songbook, the the Jazz Arts Project will present its fourth annual “An Enchanted Evening of Song” event.

This one-night show, which is sponsored  by Total Financial Concepts and National Retail Systems, will take place at 8 p.m. on May 6 at the Two River Theater. The theater is located at 21 Bridge Ave. in Red Bank.

All of the proceeds raised from this event will go to Jazz Arts Project’s “A Camp to Build a Dream On,” which is a free music camp in the summer for middle school students, according to Jaclyn Boruch, development director for the Jazz Arts Project. The camp is going to be held at the Red Bank Middle School, according to Boruch.

The cast for the May 6 event will feature the host, Bob Tuzzo, who will be joined by the award-winning musical trio, the Belle Tones. The show will also include guest appearances by Tony Corrao and Jerry Pearce, according to the Jazz Arts Project press release.

The Belle Tones is an all American female trio known for singing, dancing, telling jokes and honoring veterans. Influenced by the “Great Groups in History,” the group’s repertoire features  popular music from the 1920s to the 1980s, patriotic tunes, Broadway classics, jazz and holiday music, according to the press release.

Tuzzo, who is a CEO of a financial service company, is a lifelong musician and supporter of the musical arts. Tuzzo spearheaded the first annual “Enchanted Evening of Song” event in  2013 to raise additional funds for the free summer camp youth programs and scholarships, according to the press release.

Joining Tuzzo and the Belle Tones will be Corrao, a vocalist and Brooklyn native, and Pearce,  who is a singer, historian and Frank Sinatra enthusiast, according to the press release.

“This is Jerry’s second major concert debut, and we at Jazz Arts Project, are proud to have discovered him last year while planning our Sinatra Birthday Bash, [which was] held at the Count Basie Theatre. Jerry made his first-ever stage debut there and truly wowed the audience,” Boruch said.

Currently the $100 VIP tickets for the concert are sold out. However, the concert’s $25 and $50 tickets are still available, according to Boruch.
