VFW Post 133 to honor first responders on Loyalty Day

Matt Denton
Veterans of World War II, Korea and Vietnam gather together during a Veterans Day wreath-laying service held at Veterans Park in Monroe on November 11.

East Brunswick VFW Post 133 will hold a Loyalty Day commemoration from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 29 at the East Brunswick Cultural Arts Center, 721 Cranbury Road.

Loyalty Day is celebrated every year on May 1 by Congressional Act 85-529 of 1958.  The passage of this Act was one of the brightest victories in the long proud history of Americanism achievements by the VFW of the United States.

VFW members will honor the community’s first responders with Community Service awards. After the presentations to local volunteers, refreshments will be served.

All are welcome to attend.
