Chhange to hold colloquium on May 10 at Brookdale

The Center for Holocaust, Human Rights & Genocide Education (Chhange) will present its 2017 annual colloquium on May 10 from 9:30 am. to 12:30 p.m at the Robert J. Collins Arena, which is located at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft.

Admission is $5 per person. Doors open at 8:30 a.m.

During the colloquium, Chhange will explore “Refugees and Their Flight for Life.” Renowned scholar Deborah Dwork, Ph.D., will lead an interactive discussion about the international refugee crisis. Sana Mustafa, a 25-year-old Syrian woman, will share her struggles as a refugee living alone, without her family. Breakout workshops will follow the keynote address.
